BM20200 is a mobile brake tester for light and heavy vehicles with axle load up to 20.000 kg. The BM20200 tester features all options known from normal in-ground brake testers such as:
Infrared remote control
Service line and cylinder air pressure measurement
Automatic axle weighing
Test of 4x4, 6x4 and 8x6 driven vehicles
Diagnostic printout connection to PC/Notebook with BM Windows software
Axle Load Simulation
The BM20200 is approved by several international authorities like RWTÜV Germany and complies with the ISO standard.
The BM20200 mobile brake tester is supplied to armed forces from
and operated in areas like Kosovo, Iraq and Afganistan.
The robust design of the BM20200 allows it to be placed on gravel ground potentially supported only by small steel plates under each of the six feets.
The brake tester is designed with night light projectors and axle load simulation system power from the electrical power supply.
The display of the BM20200 is normally mounted on a mobile display on wheels, which are placed in between the rollers, when transporting it.
The BM20200 is transported inside a specially designed house, which is built onto a flatrack (DROPS). The house is built in aluminium and contains a set of ramps, which are placed on the ground behind the house. Each ramp has a weight of only 50 kg and can therefore easily be moved by two persons.
The house is equipped with an electrical winch controlled via cable remote control, so a single person can handle loading and unloading of the brake tester. Additionally, the house is equipped with a manual winch for backup and a battery, which powers the electrical winch.
The house is also equipped with special lockable transport boxes for tools and calibration equipment.
The concept includes a generator, which is mounted in front of the house on a robust frame system and the room inside this frame is used for placing power cables and tools.
